6-3 280 lbs. Billy Carson from Lexington HS in South Carolina has committed to the Lions.
You can see his latest highlight video by clicking here.
You can see his junior highlight video below:
Carson comes from a high school team that was one of the top squads in the country, especially in his junior year when the team was led by current University of South Carolina WR Shaq Roland.
Carson would be the first Lexington grad to join the Lion program, but he would keep the spirit of South Carolina alive at Wien Stadium as fellow Palmetto stater Will Patterson is graduating this May.

I notice that Mike Gerst is off the team roster. Any news on that?
Jake, we're running out of room and still no RBs, always our biggest challenge. Maybe we have one or two on Early Decision? Let us pray...
I can report that Mike Gerst is off the team and seeking to transfer.
Looks like we're going to live and die by the pass.
Well, with all the WR's on the roster even if we switch about half of them to DB we have what looks like a run and shoot offense in the making.
In Billy Carson's senior highlight film, he is listed at 6'5", two inches taller than his junior higlight film.
Mike Gerst's brother Nick was also dropped from the 2012 roster which still includes all the other current seniors. 2013 roster is now up, no incoming recruits yet.
Too bad about the Gerst boys, we saw flashes of Nick's ability before his injuries and Mike was supposed to be even better and looked terrific in his highlight video. Anyone know anything?
