If his name sounds familiar, it should. Tony is the younger brother of 1st Team All Ivy LT Joe Bonadies who is graduating this spring from Penn.
Here's a look at Tony's highlight reel:
Tony would be just the third documented Leonia HS grad to play for the Lion program and the first since Sean Fuller '89.
Needless to say, this seems like a very good pickup for Columbia.

New Columbia commit:

And another commit:
Nathan Gibbs, OL, 6'4" 290lbs

I picked up the two above after running a search on Twitter.com for "Columbia football."
ungvar, you made my day. Thank you. Congratulations to these outstanding young men on becoming part of the Columbia Football Family. Go Lions!
All three of our incoming wide receivers have excellent size and speed. If Spears adds some weight, he could also play tight end. My gut is he going to be a very good player at Columbia.
And one more:
Parker Tobia from Bergan Catholic in NJ.
6'1"/200 LB

Spears attended Bishop Heelan, the same high school as Lion basketball forward, John Daniels. If Spears is as athletic as Daniels, he will be an impact player at Columbia.
Glad to see the Bergen Catholic pipeline is still open. I was worried about fall out from what happened to BC alum Nick Gerst last Fall.
Bonadies ranked 3-star by this service, 17th best center nationally.
