Dartmouth and Brown Game Notes Released

Now all the eight Ivy teams have released their two-deeps for the start of the Ivy season.

Dartmouth's starting lineup is dominated with veterans, with no underclassmen starting except for sophomore punter Ben Kepley.

The average weight of the O-line is 288 lbs.

The thing that stands out in the Big Green lineup is it is without any real surprises at all.

Brown's two-deep was a guaranteed surprise since the Bears have been hit so hard by graduation.

But upperclassmen still dominate the starting lineup.

Senior Marcus Fuller tries to become the latest in a long line of great Brown QB's.

Two sophomores, twins Austin and Matthew Girard, will start on the O-line, which is not the usual deal for Phil Estes, but he has to make do. The only other sophomore starter is DT Jacob Walther.

The average O-line weight is 281 lbs.

I put our starting five on the OL at 274; probably 15 pounds heavier than last year.

listening to the firing lion...those KCR guys certainly are not buying into the mangolade being passed around.

I listened to the same broadcast. While that may be true, all of them seemed to me at least to know virtually nothing about football. At least get a former player or somebody who knows the basic rudiments if you are going to provide informed insights.

I love the kid broadcasters. Last year CU was behind by like 40 with five minutes to play and they said, "If Columbia pulls this out it would certainly be a great turnaround." Then CU was behind by 50 with three minutes. They said, "Honestly, if CU pulls this out...." etc. Alas, that's Columbia football humor!

That's not "Columbia football humor," Mitch, that's Columbia football hope and prayer, and we could use some more of that around here. Enjoy the game, everyone!

that is pretty funny stuff Mitch. Hope and prayer doesnt win you games, hell not sure it gets you much these days.
what we could use around here is some wins, but alas Alawicius, there will be few.
hey did Hellsinki get an offer to Maryland? if so, why wasnt he good enough for CU?
