Generally good defensive performance except for two or three breakdowns. Our WRs can't get separation and Mornhinweg is not running. Hunton should be open. The Dartmouth announcers are terrible homers, and We were really shafted on a couple of crummy calls. If we can only get some offense going....
That was the final score. We had a chance to pull it out at the end. Ball was at midfield but we couldn't make any plays at the end. Dartmouth was stuffed pretty badly by our defense for most of the game, got frustrated, and started piling up the penalties. PS, Dalyn Williams will not be playing on Sindays next year. He looked not only pretty ordinary but actually was flagged twice for unsportsmanlike conduct and should have been tossed. We are tow or three playmakers away from really having a very competitive team. Al hates moral victories, but this was one for sure, and all of us can take pride that our guys played their hearts out.
Oldlion, Dartmouth had 17 penalties to our five. Crummy calls? Overall, great showing. We sacked Williams five times and held a good offense to a season low in points. Our lack of any fast WRs might be the difference between 2-8 and 5-5. That's not going to get better and it really limits the QB.
Agree. We need to be able to stretch the field and cannot. No downfield option and 8 in the box jams the running game. Why not more options from Skyler as in Fordham?
The woods are full of swift receivers. We had some even when we totally stunk. What's the big deal about recruiting a few? An offense that consists of two plays--hand off to Molina, pitch to Molina--is pretty sad even in this early phase of reconstruction.
Until he broke his leg two years ago Chris Connors was an excellent receiver. That ended his career. Mangurian recruited Isaiah Gross and touted him as a superstar. He dropped the sport. Mangurian also had a D1 transfer a few years ago at WR who got hurt and quit. Last year our WRs couldn't catch. Now we have WRs who lack top end speed. As a result you can only go,with slants and crossing patterns for so long, since we don't have the personnel who can get separation deep. I had thought we had a few first years but they have been very quiet.

I just landed back in HK. Is my iPhone working properly. Because it reads 13-9 in the fourth quarter. ???

Closest score I can remember ever in Hanover.
