Indiana End

What are the chances that while I was driving through Indiana early yesterday, I should learn of a new Columbia football commitment from Indiana?

Well it happened in the person of DE/TE Drew Schoeberl, a 6-5 250 pound player from Columbus North HS in Columbus, IN. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1648820/drew-schoeberl

Schoeberl had some interest from some Big 10 schools and he earned a mention or two from the websites that cover the Notre Dame summer camps. 

Schoeberl would be the first Columbus North grad to come to Columbia football.

    This is truly going to be fascinating to see if
    one of the greatest Ivy League football coaches ever can turn the recruiting program around. We seem to be recruiting players on a much higher level, and spending lots of money on football.
