6-4 220 pound TE Cole Mattiesen from the St. Albans High School in Washington, D.C. has committed to Columbia.

Matthiesen had offers from Cornell, Lehigh, and a few others.

Matthiesen will be only the second St. Albans grad to come to Columbia Football; the first since Bob Wisdom '76.
