6-3 215-pound QB/DL Joshua Powell from St. Christopher's School in Richmond, Virginia has committed to the Lions. Powell also had an offer from Yale.
Powell started at QB in high school, but was also an impact player at outside linebacker. It looks like he will play on the defensive line for the Lions.
He will be the first St. Christopher's grad to come to Columbia Football.

Powell probably should be listed as a linebacker rather than a defensive lineman. He has the size (6'3" 220)- and speed (4.5 40) to be a standout linebacker in college.
AND WE NEED LB HELP NEXT YEAR WITH THE GRADUATION OF SOME REALLY GOOD LBS.
