6"4 225-pound TE/LB Blaize Cameron from Ontario's American football HS Clarkson Football North, with a PG year at Choate Rosemary Hall, has committed to Columbia.

Coach Poppe announces the new tight ends coach: https://twitter.com/CULionsFB/status/1747754383398363186
Chris Batti
Former Defensive Quality Control Analyst at Northwestern
While this appears to be Batti's first stint as a tight end coach, he has already racked up plenty of experience as the wide receivers coach at Fordham and the running backs coach at Yale. Columbia has several very talented tight ends returning for the 2024 season as well as some outstanding freshmen so Batti has a key role to play.
My mistake--running backs coach at Harvard.
Why haven't they announced Seitu Smith as OC yet?
Don’t know but he’s at Baker. One of the players met with him. Could be they are trying to get all the offensive position coaches on board before announcing Seitz, ie: Batti.
Looks like we are quietly putting together a nice class despite the coaching transition. I just hope that the nonsense on campus with all of the protests doesn’t have too much of an adverse impact.
Keep beating that same tired drum friend
Beat! beat! drums!
We seem to be lagging behind on recruiting—Asia Sunset on voyforums is touting some huge “gets” including a Syracuse decommit. How do we think we are stacking up to date against the rest of the IL?
We are never going to out recruit HYP and probably not even Dartmouth and Penn. Those are just the facts.
Al’s first few recruiting classes were rated at or near the top of the league. As Al got older he was not the same draw that he was in his first few years. The team that went 8-2 had a sophomore recruiting class that was regarded at the time as the best in the league.
"Al’s first few recruiting classes were rated at or near the top of the league." Rated by who? Sorry, they never had a better recruiting class in terms of the number of 2 and 3 star rated recruits than HYP.
I think Doc Jock Recruiting Service rated them #1.
Dock Jock? LMAO
