On Sunday, January 26, 2014, the New Jersey Devils and the New York Rangers will continue their Hudson River Rivalry, at Yankee Stadium in front of 50,000 fans. This game is an NHL event and tickets are sold out to the general public. However, through a relationship we have with the Devils, the team has held a limited number of seats for Columbia University students and faculty to have an opportunity to attend the game with family and friends. With such a large event taking place on a national stage between New York/New Jersey teams, we thought this was a great fit to offer our College Community.
Through the link provided below, you have the opportunity to purchase up to six (6) tickets for this special event. Tickets are based on availability. You will need to create an account, if you do not already have an existing Ticketmaster Account. Your password to access tickets will be COLUMBIA.
Ticket prices as you will see in the seating chart provided in the link, range from $229 - $299. In a baseball stadium, higher up seats provide the best vantage point to see the entire ice surface. Seats are pulled for you on a best available basis, first come, first served, on available price points. The ticket prices are set by the NHL and they require a $9 per ticket ordering fee, as well as a $10 overall processing fee per transaction. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, your best bet is to purchase all your tickets in one transaction, instead of making multiple purchases. The link is being made available exclusively for Columbia University students and faculty up until January 21 at 11:59pm.
Please note that tickets will only be provided as hard tickets, on souvenir stock. Tickets will only be mailed to the address provided on your Ticketmaster account. Tickets cannot be emailed or made available electronically. Due to the limited inventory available for this game, and the special access we are being provided, these tickets may not be re-sold under any circumstances.
