On-the-field practices finally began Monday as the 2017 football season is now truly underway for the Columbia Football team.
The official athletics website did a great job of summarizing the events of day one, including providing an updated preseason roster. It does not appear that weights have been updated, but several uniform number and position changes are in there. One change of note was the switching of the talented, but oft-injured Marcus Briscoe from WR to TE.
We're now 25 days away from kicking off the season for real with the home opener vs. Wagner. Many questions are left to be answered before then, chief among them just where all the new talented freshmen will figure on the depth chart.
