Keep the Train Rolling
A bird's eye view of Marist
Columbia Lions (3-0) vs. Marist Red Foxes (3-2)
October 7, 2017
Kickoff Time: 12:00 noon
Tenney Stadium at Leonidoff Field
Game Time Weather Forecast: 75 degrees and mostly cloudy
The Line: Columbia is favored by 16 1/2 points
TV/Radio: The game can only be seen on the Red Fox Network, (I don't know if there's any charge), for free on Marist's Facebook page, and can be heard on the Columbia online radio network with Jay Alter and Shawn Fitzgerald '80 on the call.
Leading Storylines
1) Columbia is suddenly on everyone's radar thanks to the 3-0 start and the thrilling win over Ivy League preseason favorite and previously undefeated Princeton. The conventional wisdom is that the Lions could overlook Marist amid the newfound positive fame and stumble. Very hot temperatures, and a potentially large Marist crowd in a tiny stadium might add to the pressure.
2) Marist has two demonstrated strengths: A decent passing game and a good defense against runs up the middle. Columbia cannot hope to continue running right up the middle and succeed. The Lions will also have to do more to get to QB Mike White, who doesn't scramble and run.
3) Columbia QB Anders Hill needs better protection than he got against Princeton. If the Lions can't get a running game going, the Red Foxes will blitz him mercilessly and make the game dangerous.

Jake describes 16 1/2 pt spread. I've seen 7.
Regardless, while we may very well wipe this team out, I am still concerned. They have 5 games played with 3 wins and it's their Homecoming, so the table is set for a potential trap.
I am hoping Bags has this drilled out of the teams' heads, and that we see the hoped-for results.
I'm driving up to Poughkeepsie for this one. I would dearly like us 4-0 going into Penn.
NOTHING CAN STOP THE COLUMBIA JUGGERNAUT
anyone see any highlights of Penn v CCSU game? are CCSU any good? feels like Penn are vulnerable next week flying in from HK to watch
