Brown +17 1/2 at Cal Poly
Brown often plays its best football in week one. Cal Poly will win, but the Bears cover.
Harvard +6 1/2 vs. San Diego
Harvard is also a traditionally good first week team. The Crimson will win.
Holy Cross +11 1/2 vs. Yale
The Elis have too many defensive questions to expect them to cover a double-digit spread in week one on the road. Yale will win, but not cover.
Georgetown +18 1/2 at Dartmouth
Dartmouth will win, but I think this game may be a little more lower scoring and the Hoyas will cover.
Bucknell +14 1/2 at Penn
The Bison won't win, but can play the Quakers close enough to cover.
Delaware -7 1/2 vs. Cornell
The spread seems small for this game for some reason. Delaware should win and cover.
Princeton -10 1/2 at Butler
The Tigers usually play these non-conference games very well.
Bryant -17 1/2 over Marist
Marist just looks really bad right now.

Columbia also got another commitment for next year's freshman class yesterday in 6-4 205-pound TE/WR Jack Ertz from Grapevine HS in Grapevine, TX.
Ertz had offers from Cornell and some smaller schools.
Ertz will be the second Grapevine grad to come to Columbia Football after Danny Kail '94.
