-Columbia and Cornell are two of the five teams currently tied for second in the Ivy League. The winner of this game will have a great chance of finishing in the top three.

-The Lions and Big Red have played three straight extremely tight games, all going to Cornell in the final minutes.

-Both teams are banged up with injuries and will have to prove they can overcome that and the chillier weather that's finally made appearance this season.

Workman like win against a pesky defense. We can all wish we came away with more points, but gotta love the defense.

much love now going to Crimson to shock Yale at the Bowl

Even if Yale wins, which is most likely, a win over Brown (which is not in the "Bag")gives us at least a tie for second. Can't complain about that. The future goal will be to overcome the Yale juggernaut.

Nothing yet from Professor Peter Steven? (Wheedle, wheedle, wheedle as angry Beavers brother Daggett said to his brother Norbert when trying to bug him.)

The development of Chris Schroer is one of the nicest stories in a kibg, long time in Columbia athletics, The kid i going out on a high note. And as and as part of a winner. One can only guess that he may wish he were only a junior.

It's been a great season whatever happens next Saturday. And Bagnoli is surely worth whatever CU is paying him. His team's successes really have put fannies in the seats (to borrow from Sam Goldwyn). Even, as was clear 2 weeks ago, for an away game at Yale.
