Who's the new SoFla commit Coach Poppe describes as a "lanky," "rangy" DB?

OK. The commit list continues to grow. Good.

But what is the gut level feeling about next year? Minus the Pollyanna syndrome.

I see a 6-4 season, as we continue to improve in talent and basics, yet struggle to fill in the holes at QB, receiver and CB. Along with improvements in the rest of the League.

Thoughts??

Dawg, 6-4 sounds about right but mostly due extreme uncertainty at QB
WRs Wainwright, Smith II, and Castner hopefully all return as well as TE Schlageter.
Half of our starting DB are underclassmen so losing Roane and Baty will hurt not so badly .
But Hills succesor is ???

Big Dawg, what holes at receiver? That's our deepest position. Did you mean running back? Although I think interior D-line is our biggest challenge.

I heard that Baty is getting a fifth year.

Didn't realize Smith is returning. Good.
But he still needs someone to throw to him. Losing Hill is our huge problem. I saw no replacement in the wings last season.

Dawg, you may not have seen one, but that doesn't mean there's not a replacement for Hill there. Bean and Davis were both All-State, and the only pass Bean through last year was a TD (albeit a very short one). Suitt may step up, too, plus a couple of good ones (maybe more) coming in. Bags will figure it out, fear not.

I was at the scrimmage last fall and the frosh Bean threw the ball very accurately.
don't worry
