Three new high school seniors have committed to Columbia over the past 10 days, and all three are real eye-openers.

First is 6"0 175-pound CB Jackson Wallace from the Holy Cross School in New Orleans. Wallace is a real hitter who had offers from Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Navy, Georgetown and a few others. Wallace will be the first Holy Cross grad to come to Columbia Football.

Anyone seen or heard of any posts of current seniors, class of 2021, that are graduating and not returning to play in the fall.

Hi Jake,

Two things:

(1) I have been wondering how the Ivy League's canceling sports during the pandemic might be having some Ivy athletes wishing they had chosen another school - e.g. Stanford, Duke, Wesleyan, Williams, etc.; i.e. another school with strong academics but a willingness to allow intercollegiate sports to continue. I wondered too if recruiting would be affected.

Do you, or others, have any thoughts on this?

(2) I see four recruits from Austin, Texas. Interesting, especially since Austin is one of my favorite places.
