Pardon the typo, meant any updates-no gags on Freudian slips please.

Thanks ungvar -- two terrific commitments from linemen on the D and O lines. I just watched the radio show in Dallas where Keller announced his decision to attend Columbia over Harvard and Georgetown, amongst others. Great show to watch if you are a Columbia Fan. Lot of fun and suspense. I recommend it highly--just go to Google and Type in Keller's name with a little bit of detail and it will come up. Congratulations to both of these outstanding young men on becoming part of the Columbia Football Family.

GREAT NEWS. I DO NOT WANT TO GET TOO EXCITED, BUT SANCHEZ IS A VERY, VERY, VERY SPECIAL RECRUIT.

It's bit like watching election results coming in on Fox News or CNN. I don't recall the name of the third cable news station, but no one watches it anyway.

Coach Poppe’s newsletter today is quite interesting-apparently the incoming class is pretty much finished. In addition, he seems to imply that we have a significant number of fifth years who will be back with us. He seemed more confident in the recruiting results of the targeted defensive players than of the targeted offensive players, but overall it seemed to this perpetually optimistic Old Lion that the results under the shortened circumstances were quite good.

I didn’t see the newsletter, where can I find that at? Can you please post link. Seems to be an incredible recruiting class

Not sure how to add the link to the letter but perhaps somebody with greater networking skills can do so.

Re: 5th years, I can tell you that many 5th years, (and perhaps all), have been removed from the roster for technical reasons and will return to the roster online before training camp.

Caleb Sanchez could have easily been a 5 star recruit but chose to stay at Bosco and waited his turn. Played his last year at National Rank HS St John Bosco with an impresssive record! But because he only played 1 year as starting QB, his offers was limited! Kid is a proto type to play in the NFL. Go watch him in you tube in just 1 year of playing at his HS, his all over you tube cz his that good!

A QB from a National Rank HS team from Bosco Caleb Sanchez just woww!!! His legit!
