I know the above roster is too fuzzy to read, but the position changes have now all been documented on the regular roster page.
The positions changes were not as extensive as I thought they would be, but here they are:
-(As I previously reported), QB Kal Prince has moved to WR
-(As everyone expected), Josh Martin moves back to the DL from LB
-WR's Ian Cummins and Augie Braddock are now at DB
-LB Ben Walker is now a RB, (and Coach Mangurian seemed to take a very special interest in his play last night, especially after he fumbled!)
-DB Devan Luster moves to LB
No weights have been updated.
And it appears no team captains have been named.
Overview
I'll stretch the coverage of the spring controlled scrimmage throughout the week, but for today I have to add that RB Marcorus Garrett certainly was the star of the event last night with several spectacular big gainer runs.
If you remember, I reported way back in early 2010, that the Lion coaches were giddy when Garrett agreed to commit to the CU around Christmas time, 2009.
It seems like that holiday present may really begin to blossom in 2012, unlike like most presents that people tend to forget about six months or even six weeks later.

I remember talking to one of the coaches over a year ago and he felt then that garrett was the better prospect at RB than the older Gerst. That is, more suited for the full time role
Really nice to see such a large crowd, perhaps the largest I can remember for a spring game.

Gerst is more of a situational runner who operates best in space. Garrett is bigger and can take more of a pounding.
My impression was that team was stronger and faster than last year. The players appeared to be in great condition and it was wonderful to see a healthy Brackett at the helm. Weiss looked sharp as the quarterback for the second team offense. Garrett looked terrific at running back and there was some excellent blocking in front of him. Finally, that 95 yard pass-run play was nicely executed. Congrats to the defensive back for making the successful effort to run down the receiver.

Jeff Adams got a nice plug in yesterday's Bergen Record as a real sleeper who will be drafted in the 6th or 7th round. I bet he goes before Ortiz.
Congrats to Weiss. If not for dropped passes, the post game talk would be all about him.
