Schoeberl Shines
Drew Shoeberl
Incoming TE Drew Schoeberl is the subject of a nice piece in the local Indiana newspapers today.
Schoeberl is described as one of the best blocking tight ends in the state who had preferred walk-on offers from Purdue and Northwestern along with being recruited for official spots at Harvard, Yale, Cornell, and Brown.
But, it looks like he may switch positions for the Lions:
“I really enjoyed playing defense,” Schoeberl said. “I told the coaches at Columbia I’ll play whatever position they feel that I should play or where I can be the best to help the team. They’ve told me I could probably come and play defensive line for them if they needed that, but the more need was at the tight end and offensive line positions.”

I don't know if I missed something, but how is Columbia giving him a scholarship? I suppose it is all based on financial need but the article seems to suggest the other Ivies couldn't provide one.
Who is the new impact DL?
