The Hartford Courant quotes numerous sources that say UConn defensive
coordinator Don Brown has been hired as Yale's new head coach.
This is a very good hire for the Bulldogs, but the clock is truly
ticking for Brown to get his staff together.
Even the brilliant Kent Austin had serious problems catching up after
his relatively late hiring at Cornell in January 2010. The result was
the Big Red didn’t really improve until late in the season and it was
2011 before Cornell made a real impact.
At this point, it’s not just recruiting… it’s also preparing for next
year. Remember, we’re just three months until spring practice.
