NFL Regular Season Over = Another Hiring Blitz?

Now that 20 of the 32 NFL teams are done for the season, Head Coach Pete Mangurian has his choice of a lot more personnel to help fill out his Columbia coaching staff.

The available candidates would have to be younger guys looking to secure 2012 employment soon as opposed to waiting for the playoffs to end and hoping for the best.

One person Mangurian may want to contact is current Tampa Bay Buccaneers asst. special teams coach Byron Storer. He and Mangurian spent 2010 working together in Tampa and Storer seems like he might make a better fit in the college coaching ranks.

A little closer to home, it looks like the NY Jets coaching staff is about to be overhauled big time. Rex Ryan may be the only man still standing a few weeks from now. If that's the case, Mangurian may want to take a good look at some of the younger assistants who already live nearby.
