Camp Countdown
75 days remain before what has to be one of the most dramatic and crucial training camps in Columbia football history.
Never before has a head coach made it as clear that so many starting spots will depend on how everyone, especially the incoming freshmen, performs in camp.
And Pete Mangurian's decision to shift practice times to the very early morning may also make this coming camp the most effective ever. That's because the new time should help the freshmen avoid missing the many practices the new classes have in the past due to mandatory freshman orientation events.
So the 75 day mark means that all the players have just about 10 more weeks to lift the weights, gain the pounds, and get mentally ready for the challenge.

I see several freshman challenging immediatley for playing time particularly at the skills positions.
