Brown Sex Assault Case

Two freshmen football players, (they were frosh in 2013 to be clear), stand accused of sexual assault by a female Providence College student.

Both are off the team at least for now.

This is the kind of story that jeopardizes the sport for all the Ivy teams.

Isn't Dartmouth up in arms about this subject as well? Certainly reflects poorly on males. Are these cretins socially maladjusted? They don't know how to treat a woman. Pathetic.

I can't believe how many of these incidents I've seen over the past few years, not just with athletes but in general.

How can these idiots be so stupid? College students doing this? Bad enough. But when athletes, who HAVE to know they're spotlighted, do the same dumb-ass and criminal stuff, and put it out on the internet(!!!), what does that say about the mentality?

The whole concept is disgusting. Bad enough they drug the victim; but then to broadcast it?
This doesn't belong anywhere, but one would think at Ivy campuses there would be a bit more intelligence and insight at work.

Happening in too many schools. Not just college, friends. HS too. I guess I am getting old at that.

Read "I am Charlotte Simmons" by Tom Wolfe to understand what's going on. But to shorten things: even elite colleges are filled with dumb, horney boys and dumb, naive girls. Throw in booze and drugs, and you've got sex assault central.
