6-3 225 pound DE John Alyn from American Heritage High School in Plantation, FL has committed to the Lions.

Alyn will be the the fourth American Heritage grad on the Columbia roster this fall, along with rising junior Oren Milstein and rising sophomores Will Allen and Blake Wooden.

American Heritage is one of the best high school football programs in America and it appears the Columbia coaches want to keep their channel to that school wide open.
