Dwayne Warren
6-3 198-pound WR Dwayne Warren from New Jersey's Seton Hall Prep has committed to Columbia.
Warren was a top receiver in the Ivy talent-rich New Jersey prep league for two seasons. Warren will be the eighth documented Seton Hall grad to come to Columbia football, joining current rising sophomore Rory Schlageter and fellow incoming freshman Josh Kaminsky.
Columbia has lost another WR commit, Jake McCurry from Solon, OH. McCurry has decided to take a preferred walk on offer at Michigan.

Very disappointing news about McCurry; he was a solid 2 star recruit who committed in August. Is there a back story here on admissions?
I doubt that. Chance to play at Michigan was most likely the lure. I think it's a mistake, but I'm not 17.

Hard to gauge warrens talent level....SHP went 2~8 in 2016 and he seems to have had a weak QB throwing to him by the looks of this tape
McCurry was a good one, but this looks like an excellent trade-off. Check out Warren's junior year highlights on HUDL (several impressive one-handed grabs, senior year also good, made 1st Team All-District).
Still waiting for those LBs, another QB, and some DLs. All the other positions look great. Anybody know anything? By the way, OL recruit Peter Wise made high school All-American!
P.S. Jack Young made post-season 1st team All-State, our WR recruits look outstanding.
