Colorado Arm

Anders Hill

Anders Hill, a 6-4 210 pound QB from Fairview High School in Boulder, CO has committed to Columbia.

This looks like a very good get for the class of 2018.

Hill was recruited by several other Ivies and got some interest from Vanderbilt as well. His favorite receiver, Sam Martin, has committed to Miami of Ohio.

Hill is the first Fairview alum to come play for the Lions.

A good prospect but again, a little too similar to Hilinski. Give him time to develop and hope he gets some coaching. If Nottingham is healthy he is the unquestioned starter next season. If the OL shows up there might be a chance for an offense.

I don't buy into the pure pocket passer offense. This isn't the Peyton Manning show. It has been proven that gritty QBs with an "it" factor can compensate for pocket pressure and create something. There was Brackett of course but remember Jeff Otis and the Van Zant/Chmelka connection. That's the chemistry it will take to get the O out of the ditch.

Chmelka is 5'9" BTW, from an unheralded HS in Nebraska. Tell me he wasn't a difference maker.
