Some of Head Coach Pete Mangurian's quotes at the Ivy Football Media Conference were just priceless today. He should really see if he can get a gig at Caroline's!
1) "(We have to) "set a standard and don't lower the bar."
Yeah coach, well you'd have to tunnel about 75 miles beneath the Earth to lower the bar anymore than 0-10 and the worst stats in Ivy history. "Raising the bar," would be what... 1-9?
2) "(It) Takes time to build an identity, but team is getting there."
Oh don't be so modest, you've already got an identity coach! That would be our identity as the worst team in all of organized college sports. Oh, and we have a great identity on Twitter and with campus security too. How could you forget that? Really, Coach you're being WAY too modest!
3) "Let go of the wins/losses and move on."
Coach, let me be the first to tell you that you're ALREADY doing a great job letting go of the wins.
