Two-Deeps: What to Look For

As we await the release of the game notes for the season opener at Central Connecticut State, (CCSU's game notes and two-deeps are already out here), here are the top questions we'll presumable have answered by the release of the Columbia starting lineups:

1) Starting QB

That's obviously the top question as we look for who takes over the starting job from the graduated Anders Hill. Will the nod go to Josh Bean, Dillon Davis, or will there be an "OR" designation not making it clear who the actual starter is until game time?

2) Starting CB's

I expect Ben McKeighan will remain one of the two starting cornerbacks for the Lions this year, but I've long believed the job of replacing Cameron Roane at the other CB position is the second most vital task this season.

3) Starting RB's

I'm looking for some interesting new names and surprises from this position this year. Let's see if that happens.

4) Flores Replacement

Who will get the nod to replace the injured Charlie Flores on the O-line? That's a key decision too.

5) Any Changes on the LB Depth Chart?

Will Columbia's massive depth at the linebacker position knock one or more of last year's starters down on the totem poll?
