Wonderful praise for Zach! He's a tough linebacker that is invaluable to the team!

I just hope he doesn't read this blog! It would break my heart if someone who worked as hard as he does has to read about how bad his leaders are, and how his team has no chance.

Keep your head high and accomplish great things... Not only in football, but more importantly in life!

I knew he was a special player from the time he first made an impact on the field as a 200 pound LB in the Yale game in New Haven his freshman year. I don't think he had played much until that time and He was all over the field that day leading a furious second half comeback which fell just short. Young men like Zach are why we support this team year in and year out.

Olinger is one of our best players and his academic work is praiseworthy, but let's not shy away from reality. This is a football blog and football is a team sport and it is pitiful that the only positive news ever posted on any CU website is that some individual has won or is being considered for an academic award. This applies to all sports at Columbia but the one with the least positive Sports news is always football. And that,s a measure of the pathetic state of sports here, most especially in football.
