Army is going to destroy Yale. I'll give those points. This is not the same Army team as the last several years. They are back to a dynamic running game. Yale's backs will be subdued by the Army boys. I'll give -20.

Finding the best AD starts with finding the best Search Committee. That committee needs to be comprised of members truly looking to find a superior candidate and that means not just ticking boxes or pandering to political agendas. I suggest that Jake be included on this committee. He has been a steadfast supporter of Columbia athletics but, more important, he is knowledgeable and informed. It is high time the Administration takes advantage of this calibre of resource. If you agree, make the point in whatever ways you can. Believe me, everyone involved reads this blog and the comments

Pigs will fly before anybody associated with the administration would appoint Jake. But how about our own Big Dawg?

I just wrote on the newest entry by Jake that he should be the new AD, never mind the selection committee. But you're correct, anything beneficial to a winning athletics program for all Columbia sports will have to be won over the dead body of football.
