I'm sorry to pass along a very sad story concerning a CU football alum, but I know many of his teammates would want to know.
Former Columbia DB Tony Lucas' wife Sarita died suddenly last week.
She was six months pregnant.

I know everyone in the Columbia community would like to express our deepest sympathies to Tony and his whole family.

I was a teammate of Tony's, and literally cant think of one bad thing to say about him. When I read this news over the weekend it made me sick to my stomach. Although we werent close in college I will forever have and bond and respect for anyone that plays football for the full four years at Columbia. We should keep him all in our prayers, life is bigger than football.
