This is How it's Done

Posters like these are all over the campus and downtown Hanover

For those of you wondering what Columbia could do differently to blow the top secret fact that our football season starts with the home opener Saturday, try looking at what Dartmouth is doing here.

The way our game is being "promoted" it's likely there will be a lot more Fordham fans at the game than Lion supporters.

Chase Edmonds

Speaking of doing things the right way, Fordham adjusted to the new lack of mobility problems for its QB Michael Nebrich by letting their phenom RB do more of the heavy lifting. The Rams mauled Rhode Island by a score of 54-7 at Jack Coffey Field.

That RB is Chase Edmonds and he ran for 231 yards and four TD's. Not that Nebrich wasn't effective as a passer; he had 331 yards passing and a TD pass.

Columbia's other non-conference opponent that played last Saturday was Monmouth, and the Hawks came away with an emotional 21-16 win over Wagner at home. The Lions travel to Monmouth on October 11th.
