5 Questions for Pete Mangurian

1)      Last year before the Yale game, you told Jerry Recco that the team needed to learn first how to lose right. Now that we’ve lost 11 more straight games since then and 18 in a row overall, do you think the team has the losing thing down yet?

2)      At what point do you think it would be okay for the team to try winning… even if they don’t win the right way for a while? Would that be okay?

3)      Why do you think the rest of the league does not learn from your brilliant decision to never allow your QB’s to run? Is it just the fact that we never win that’s clouding their ability to see the genius of that move?

4)      When do you think is the best time for opposing teams to pull their starters against you? Halftime? 4th quarter? The day before the game?

5)      You have said you didn’t want to rebuild the Columbia program, but you wanted to build it. Is it possible your blueprints got mixed up with the schematics for the Hindenburg?

Jake, your wit is improving! Is there anyone besides me who has even a gram of mercy for Mango? Anyone want to go in with me for an airborne "Mercy for Mango!" banner at the Cornell game?

It'll cost around $850.

You're only getting better Jake! Granted, there is a lot of material, nevertheless, your delivery is excellent!!!

Every time I give Pete a break he washes out with a faux pas. The administration did not care enough to have prevented this disaster and does not care enough to fix it now.

I have a suspicion no action will be taken to relieve this guy from his duties.

Has anybody heard any news about the AD search? Has the school interviewed anyone, or have they hired a search firm? Any names yet?
Seems very secretive-
