This type of story must certainly end any doubt of the recruiting power of having Bagnoli (the winningest coach in Ivy League history) at our helm. A Leaders attract A players and A coaches. It's infectious.
While I am cautious about this season, I am fully optimistic about the near future.
In addition to Al, I think the Poppe family are BC alums.
I should clarify: I didn't mean to say Al is a BC alum, just that he is well respected there. The Poppe boys are BC grads.
PPS, is Coach Fabish also a BC guy?
So Princeton football was not recruiting him, just their wrestling program? Or did we actually beat them out for him for football?
I meant to ask if we beat them out for him for football, too? Why woud their football program not be recruiting him?
Sorry to see this 4 years later. Danny did not want to interact with the Princeton Football Coach out of respect for the Princeton Wrestling Coach. Very straightforward, nothing more to it.
