Briscoe a stud WR, 1st team all-league in tough Hacienda League. We beat out Penn for this one. Yale gets his team's star tailback, Will Bryan.

All things considered, gotta hand it to PM and staff for doing better than most of us could have hoped. Certainly his best class yet.

How in the world would any of us know if this is a better class than any other year?

Unknown said...

WOF, we don't know. But we do know that this class is more heralded with FBS and FCS offers than any I can remember. Also, many of these student athletes came to us over the likes of Harvard, Yale and other Ivy's.

How many recruiting classes do you remember, I am curiious? I go back 30 years and if you have been around long enough you would know that every year we claim to get kids who chose us over the other Ivies.

That is a silly post with no evidence to support any of it.

The evidence is on Rivals, MaxPreps, Scout.com and 247sports. Try reading something other than the Farmer's Almanac.

You obviously did not read those sites in prior years, thank you for proving my point.

And the notion that you have zero empathy for those of us with a long and painful CU relationship speaks volumes about why you troll Jake's blog.

Guys, let's consider that of the incoming 30+ kids some may not have played at their optimal position in HS due to lack of personal at certain positions. Others start out as 5'10" 150 pound freshmen DBs and are stuck there as 6'2" 205 pound seniors. Let's let the coaches put the lineups together and then we can hammer them.

Love the hands and concentration of Briscoe. He isn't shy about fighting for the ball and going up in the air to get it. Great speed and acceleration for a big WR. All past and present class recruiting concerns aside, this guy looks fantastic ...looking forward to seeing him in the Light Blue !

These sights have been around for years. What planet with no Internet are you from? You asked for evidence and I gave it to you. Then you go off on some unrelated tangent. I imagine you to walk around with bitter beer face you grumpy old man.

Those sites have been around for years, you are correct about that. And every year we sign kids who , according to those sites, were recruited by other FBS schools and chose us over other Ivies.

None of this is earth shattering news, not until we actually start winning games and contending, and the past two years give us little confidence that will change any time soon.

I am done wasting my time with you.
