BREAKING: Yale Two-Deep Released

Victor Egu: Not a starter???

Yale has just released its two-deeps for its opener at Colgate.

Here are the highlights:

-The Elis use the wimpy, cop-out “OR” designation at QB. The starter is either Henry Furman or Clemson transfer Morgan Roberts. Ugh.

-Some of the starters sound fishy. The very talented Nick Okano is listed as the BACKUP to freshman Robert Ries at free safety. Two other frosh are listed as starters in the secondary. Yikes.

-The much-heralded freshman Victor Egu is listed as the backup to team captain Beau Palin at DE.

-WR Cameron Sandquist is listed as a backup. I wouldn’t take that at face value.

Everything else seems to be what everyone expected.

According to ESPN's website, CU at Princeton will be carried on ESPN3. Doesn't appear on the Columbia website, though. Looks like Princeton has three games on ESPN3 this season.

The Col AD page is not the place to find out about video coverage by any service.
