Midway through the 2nd quarter of Columbia’s week
nine game at home against Cornell, the Big Red took over at their own 49 with
the score tied at 7-7.
Five straight runs, three by freshman Luke Hagy and two
scrambles by QB Jeff Mathews, set Cornell up with a 2nd and nine at
the Lion 21.
A nifty pass to Kurt Ondash went for 15 yards and now the
Big Red were knocking on the door with a 1st and goal at the six.
But that’s when freshman corner Travis Reim got into the mix with a nice INT; a direct result of correctly
reading Mathews’ eye and following them to the east corner of the north end
zone.
The play saved six points and temporarily delayed the Big
Red rally.

Any reports yet on Saturday's scrimmage? Two deep?
I wouldn't realistically expect a two deep for another 10 days at least.
