Jeff Mathews
After Columbia took a 7-0 lead on the first possession of
its week nine game against Cornell, the Lions knew nothing was even close to
settled since they were facing the great QB Jeff Mathews and his impressive
receiving crew.
After getting two first downs on his first possession,
Mathews and Cornell faced a 3rd and five from the Columbia 48.
That’s when senior Will Patterson burst through the line and
brought Mathews down for a seven yard sack.
It would be Columbia’s first sack of the day.
It wouldn’t be its last.

If Mathews holds a football like that .......
SHouldn't the title be "First Sack of the Day?"
SHouldn't the title be "First Sack of the Day?"
Any reports on today's scrimmage? What about media day?
