JMart Looks Good!

Josh Martin '13, knocks a Saint receiver to the turf

I'm not sure how much this helps Josh Martin's chances to make the Kansas City Chief roster, but the recently graduated Columbia LB recorded four tackles, two of them for a loss, in last night's preseason game at the Super Dome. He also had one "pass defensed."

Getting a CU grad onto an NFL roster would be a great boost for recruiting.

Oh, and how did recent Princeton grad Mike Catapano do for the Chiefs last night? He was injured and did not play.

Great job last night by our former CU star Josh Martin. "A few guys working for backup positions had good games. Tyson Hartman had a pick and a pass defended; Allen Bailey had a tackle for loss; Austen Lane got to the quarterback (before banged up his ribs); Josh Martin had a couple nice stops in the backfield and a special teams tackle."

I thought that Josh Martin's game last year against Cornell was the best defensive performance by a front seven guy since Marcellus Wiley's senior year.

why no love for Jeff Adams who is trying to make Miami's roster after a season of being so close on the Bengals' practice squad???
