Moment #41: Nelligan's Big Catch
Connor Nelligan
With the Lions now trailing 7-0 in their week six Homecoming battle with Dartmouth, Columbia took the kickoff after the Big Green score and finally woke up on offense.
A mix of five total running and passing plays got the Lions up to their own 46 when on 1st down, QB Sean Brackett found WR Connor Nelligan for his most spectacular catch of the season on a 41 yard gain.
With Isaiah Gross lost for the season due to an injury in week three, Columbia struggled to thread the needle on spectacular pass plays throughout much of the rest of the season.
But that wasn't the case at this point, and the Lions parlayed the big catch into a field goal to narrow the Dartmouth lead to 7-3.
