Moment #47: Game Changing Boot
Scott Lopano
With the score now 20-17 Columbia midway through the 4th quarter, the Lion coaches decided to rest Marcorus Garrett for the CU series immediately following the Penn TD.
The result was a three-and-out, but at least Columbia got a great 55 yard punt from Paul Delaney that the Quakers had downed at their own 27.
But if Lion fans thought that was a game-changing kick, they were about to see something even better.
Columbia's defense forced a three-and-out of their own, but Penn punter Scott Lopano slammed a 60 yard punted that was downed all the way back at the Lion six.
Even though CU still had the lead with 4:09 left, their backs were now officially against the wall.
